^^ The plot between The Zon KLCC and Poh Yin Temple.
look weird but better than typical boxy design..
Am I right to say Menara Atlan Redevelopment?
Looks interesting.. but out of place in KLCC.. looks more suited for KL Sentral area

2 weird projects next to each other...dis 1 and Oxley Tower...
Look nice but doesn't fit klcc
Maybe mk? Or empire city
Does this project belong to KLCC Properties?
it's artistic and definitely not boring :)
Boring is when architects come up with an anonymous box, all too common in Kuala Lumpur. While I wouldn't describe this design as groundbreaking, it puts me to mind of dice being thrown, which is unexpected. That's good
Cool project indeed. Up next... skyscraper tokong ? :sly:
so they will retain the building??
It's just a proposal. Nothing concrete yet hehe :)
^^ spot on patchay!

so they will retain the building??

Did anyone noticed that they are retaining Menara Atlan and just 'covering' it with new 'skin'?

Its the second building from the front. ;)

Yeah I realised it earlier.

On another note, I'm not sure how DBKL would allow additional buildings to be built on the same plot of land (unless is many parcels). Assuming, if they can build, I think a reasonable developer would Max out the plot ratio and hence increasing NFA after setback which probably pushes up the Building much higher. But construction could be constrained by the narrow site.
^^ In addition to that, it seems that Zon Hotel would be eliminated as well....... :D

Wow looks like our dreams come true.

(mentioned before somewhere in Troika thread that we wanted to "delete" Zon from map)

^^ Well....the proposed buildings in the rendering looks much better than Zon Hotel at least haha :D ....actually I have confident that anything is much better......and less waste of a good space!

If I am not mistaken, this long plot of land belongs to the temple beside it.

The rendering featuring the temple so prominently plus not taking its surrounding buildings into account shows that the temple organisation is the landlord :D
