LRT/MONORAIL/MRT Train Announcements and Signage at the station.

IMHO our train announcement should be clear and use the proper voice. recently the new KJ line train announcement not so good compare to the previous one. the best train announcement so far is in the KLIA transit and KLIA express. The voice is clear and the pronouncation was good. Why lrt and monorail cant implement the good one...

The signages at the stations also need to change because the one that using now looks so bad.

THE PERFECTOR I would ask that you combine all those image links into one post, instead of making multiple postings. It would help keep the thread neat.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned to you before The Perfector, but do refrain from using Caps Lock in your posts. It's akin to shouting, and there's no need for that, as your fellow forumers are able and willing to hear you out. Caps Lock aside, you make a good case for what you are arguing for and the numerous examples and references you provide are top notch. :eek:kay:

Also, if everyone could find a way to keep their picture posts to a more moderate size, something that doesn't require sideways scrolling, that would be lovely! Carry on lads!

^^ I assume it happened the other way round. RapidKL placed the bus stand, and then the fence was installed. I believe coordination, specifically the lack of it, was what caused this ridiculous situation.
browncolour, let me just say, I didn't expect to see a Muslim prayer room, or Malay/Indonesian signage, in Taiwan.

^^ RapidKL is a public transport operator, amongst others like CityBus. It's logo can't be used for services operated by other companies, ergo, our search for a universal transport logo.
It can indeed! It looks very very good; I can easily imagine variants like GoKL Rail, GoKL BRT, and hey, maybe even GoKL Coaches? I never did notice the arrow, it somehow reminds me of Northwest Airlines' old logo. Maybe this branding can be extended to other cities too, like Penang, JB, KK and Kuching?

Now this is a brilliant piece of branding (as only Landor Associates can deliver); we see here, a stylised N which, when coupled with the arrow (which points due northwest), creates a W.
