Why RapidKL is so STUPID at the first place to place the bus stop BEHIND the fencing???
Why RapidKL is so STUPID at the first place to place the bus stop BEHIND the fencing???The pole with the orange RapidKL Bus icon is certainly RapidKL's.
The iron fence blocking the pavement to the road is certainly not RapidKL's.
I hope you can answer some of these questions ...
(1) Where is this bus stop? Google Maps link to it perhaps?
(2) Was the pole there before the fence? or otherwise?
(3) Which road authority installed the fence? JKR? Sprint Highway?
PS: Checked the JPG file for EXIF info. Nope no GPS Coord info.
This means there is NO COORDINATION at all between RapidKL and the local authority.^^ I assume it happened the other way round. RapidKL placed the bus stand, and then the fence was installed. I believe coordination, specifically the lack of it, was what caused this ridiculous situation.
Correct. Nearby Batu Caves. Whoever install it first, the issue is no coordination between both parties.I think this is in front of Batu caves if I'm not mistaken. So it falls under Selangor state.
Good idea but will there be a response, if at all ??!! :nuts:Maybe we should send the pic and the location to RapidKL.
i believe that the rapidkl pole were in placed after the fence were installed, if not mistaken, batu caves area was in zone 3 for the rapidkl buses, together with wangsa maju and ampang, I still remember, the rapidkl bus signage/pole were install by prasarana early this year, especially in ampang area that time.....^^ I assume it happened the other way round. If true, then its STUPIDITY of the highest order !!! :nuts:i believe that the rapidkl pole were in placed after the fence were installed, if not mistaken, batu caves area was in zone 3 for the rapidkl buses, together with wangsa maju and ampang, I still remember, the rapidkl bus signage/pole were install by prasarana early this year, especially in ampang area that time.....
so I think, we already know, to who we should put the blame for,...
They don't care as long as their job is done, goes to show the kind of people rapidKL are employing, no brains at all :bash:i believe that the rapidkl pole were in placed after the fence were installed, if not mistaken, batu caves area was in zone 3 for the rapidkl buses, together with wangsa maju and ampang, I still remember, the rapidkl bus signage/pole were install by prasarana early this year, especially in ampang area that time.....

My target is to get the routes, schedules published. Online first. Physical later. Achievable?I believe your target is NOT ACHIEVABLE at all
Singapore LTA have routes, schedules, real time information published online and in mobile apps. See http://www.mytransport.sg/ and http://m.mytransport.sg respectively. If you think your idea will work, South Korea and Japan or even Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong will do it a LONG LONG TIME AGO.
I'm sure the bus drivers have informed their superiors. And their superiors have informed relevant departments in Prasarana/RapidKL group. Anyway, what do you expect Prasarana/RapidKL to do?Even if the fence was installed after the bus stop, shouldn't the bus drivers have noticed and said something by now?
Don't be curious, this is one of three bus stops at the same road and the distance between them around 200 - 300 metres. Actually, you can just walk to the nearby bus stop if you want. This is not like one of the RapidKL bus stop at DUKE highway from Gombak heading towards Sentul where the RapidKL signage quite far from the bus stop. Anyway the issue is how do they manage the bus stop? It has to be one sole authority (not RapidKL or Selangor state etc.) that can take care of this bus administration as whole up to bus stop management.I'm sure the bus drivers have informed their superiors. And their superiors have informed relevant departments in Prasarana/RapidKL group. Anyway, what do you expect Prasarana/RapidKL to do?
(1) Tell the road authority to cut the fence? The fence, sidewalk, bus stop pole, drains, are all within the road reserve.
(2) Get permission from the road authority to cut the fence?
(3) Just go ahead cut the fence?
I am quite curious about the context of this particular case. Is there another bus stop before or after the one in that pix http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/08/19/102067b795f531bb38b27002b15ab4d4.jpg ? I am just guessing is that bus stop anywhere near here https://www.google.com.my/maps/@3.2358892,101.6792246,196m/data=!3m1!1e3 ?
Please don't twist and turn with your words. I believe this was NOT even your original intention at all in the first place. All your comments vividly and clearly stated that you 100000000000001% don't want physical signage or hard copy until now. You ONLY want the so called "cost saving" online directories ONLY via Google Maps etc etc apps.My target is to get the routes, schedules published. Online first. Physical later. Achievable?

I haven't double checked Taiwan and Hong Kong.
I didn't say that. You ONLY want the so called "cost saving" online directories ONLY via Google Maps etc etc apps.
Vietnam public bus system outside their big cities is already very good and Malaysia is falling behind. The Laos bus already looks far more organized than rapid kl, very sad. That's why I say it won't be surprised if in the future, countries like Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos or Vietnam will even have much better public transportation system than Malaysia in terms of quality and services.
You didn't say that or you didn't "MEAN" that??? Do you want to look back at your comments???I didn't say that.
Let's SPAD and the government of Malaysia embarrass themselves KAW KAW until tonnes of international or global negative remarks really hit them big time, then they will change and "improve".Vietnam public bus system outside their big cities is already very good and falling behind Malaysia.
