IMHO our train announcement should be clear and use the proper voice. recently the new KJ line train announcement not so good compare to the previous one. the best train announcement so far is in the KLIA transit and KLIA express. The voice is clear and the pronouncation was good. Why lrt and monorail cant implement the good one...

The signages at the stations also need to change because the one that using now looks so bad.

This is a total disgrace, let's leave aside the aesthetic aspect of signage. But the accuracy, clarity and visibility??? My God, even a kindergarten kid can make bigger and better signage than this.
I DISCOVER ONE SIMPLE FACT about signage at Malaysian public transport stations or terminal. It's NOT BIG and CLEAR ENOUGH for people to see and read it. As if SPAD, RAPID KL or KTMB ARE VERY VERY AFRAID for people to find out the name of the stations.
Why??? Why the public transport stations and terminal of Malaysia is SO AFRAID TO LET THE PUBLIC to see the station name VIVIDLY and CLEARLY???
AND THIS, WHY??? KINDLY SHOW THE STATION OR TERMINAL NAME BIG ENOUGH, CLEARLY, SUFFICIENTLY and VIVIDLY:

Send a complain email to prasarana see whether they will take public opinion or not. Most important is the clear pronunciation, some announcement at KL central have some weird slang.

Changing the voice would be easy, they should find some hot, sexy, young and soft female voice.

already send feedback n suggestion many times. but no action taken. so sad....why not they make the voice auditions to shortlist the best one.
i also suggest to them to make double announcements means when the train almost reach the station it will announce again the name of the station. this is important because our LRT train did not have any LED sign to indicate the next station. Singapore mrt do triple announcements if im not mistaken.

Ok that's fine for train announcements, but what about next stop signage and announcements on buses? Should it be a computer read system like most other countries do? I think this is very important as it will significantly help first time bus users.
To be honest, public suggestions or even COMPLAINTS are REFERENCE ONLY for PRASARANA. They only CARE ABOUT their SO CALLED professional opinions. They hardly take public complaint seriously unless something big happens.
the announcement inside the monorail are weird, really irritating

especially the Bahasa Melayu annoucement... it's terrible, "Pertukaran ke Ampang Line dan Sri Petaling Line, Terima Kasih'... there's no word 'Line' in Bahasa Melayu....:bash: suppose to be 'Aliran Ampang dan Aliran Sri Petaling'....

anyway, for the KJ line, they use yasmin yussuf's voice for the annoucement...

i think the new KJ line announcements did not use yasmin yusoff voice. i like the previous voice originality compare to the new one.
i hope better announcements for new 4 car monorail this august.
A big map showing the exits (and exit number) and vicinity of the station as in Taiwan Metro is very useful especially to tourist.

Was at KLCC Convention Center and the LRT signboard in KLCC Suria is almost none existence!!! The signage wording in the mall are so tiny that you need to be underneath it to read it!!!

Agreed about big neighbourhood map of station vicinity is useful for tourists (internal or external). It seems keeping those maps up to date is an issue. Recently, I noticed the neighbourhood map still on the wall at Taman Paramount station dates from Putra LRT era, circa 1998. My photo of it is somewhere. ;-)

You brought a pertinent point, that raise a few questions.

Can SPAD instruct KLCC Suria to change those signage to the LRT station? What penalty can SPAD impose if KLCC Suria does not follow the instruction? Or SPAD have to rely on DBKL authority on building by laws?
