Luanda, Angola

Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), the world's largest Hotel (by number of rooms) is investing in hotel properties in Luanda and Space Group of Korea was chosen to be the project architect.

The 25-storey hotel covering a total floor area of 53,128.3 sq. m. caters 389 guest rooms. This multi-faceted glass cladded building will surely be a main attraction, for it will glitter at daytime and will illuminate during nightime, emanating the character of a diamond.

It should be u/c by now, that´s what is said on the webpage!

Really it is very sad to get so little information on projects in Angola. Sometimes it can be like winning in a lottery.
What's the update regarding construction on this one Matt?
Thanks this si very good to know that it is u/c!

Are you sure that it will be glad in gold...the ice blue was much nicer.
Cortesy of matt

Very beautiful picture it was good that in real life look like the picture in gold...wonderful...:banana2:

so no Interconti for Luanda then? Such prime property should be managed by an international brand. Maybe they hsould simply pick another like Sheraton, Meridien, Kempenski.....that´s truly bad news, really!
