this brutalist/modernist monster sits in the heart of croydon. 64 metres tall, it's effectively what happens when you cut a 180 metre building into three and lay it over a big site. it has 43,000 square metres of office space in it, a huge amount for a building built in the 60s ( i think it might actually be the largest office tower built in the sixties or seventies ).

i'm pretty sure in terms of floor area it is actually the largest office block built pre canary wharf in the UK. for comparison, centre point is 280,000 square feet roughly, this is 440,000 !
