Madrid is famous for having a wonderful sunlight and this is specially clear during this season. Everything seems fresh and new. I think that this is a city where everyone would like to go for a walk in a day like this. I hope you like it.

The new Barajas airport:

The new Reina Sofía Museum (sorry, the last photo was taken by m3c in September, it´s just that I like the light son much and it seems to me it doesn´t contrast too much with the others because of the light; thanks very much to m3c):

Puerta de Europa:

Paseo de la Castellana:

Hotel Puerta de América:

Parque del Retiro:

Museo del Prado:

The queues are very big at both sides of the building:

This is the old Palacio de Comunicaciones, correct? Such a beautiful building. What is it being used for today?

La Plaza de Cibeles - how beautiful!

What is this street that we are looking down? That is the El Banco de España on the left, correct? I can see El Edificio Metropolis down the street.

Have you taken pictures at night? Or any shots of Via Castellana or the Gran Via?

The old Palacio de Comunicaciones is being reformed to be the new Town Hall. The main offices will be there and also a big part will be used for cultural events. The big "patio" will be covered with a modern cristal suface so the light can go into the place; there will be concerts, exhibitions, etc, there and the idea is that this will make longer the Paseo del Arte with already Museo del Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía.

Yes, edificio Metrópolis is at the bottom of the image, in the middel of Gran Vía and Calle Alcalá.

Thanks for the compliments to everybody.
