Can you tell me where abouts is this project coming up?
^^ Magadi Road, very close to city center
But there is two places known as magadi road isnt it?
one from hunsemara to tollgate and the other one which goes from tollgate to kamakshipalya and beyond :)..

So which one is it and where xactly on tht road!
This area was known as Binnyston gardens earlier. It is adjacent to Binny Mills on Agraharam Road, which is just behind Bangalore City Rly Stn. You can access it from Magadi Rd., or from the Mysore Rd side via Agraharam rd. Distancewise, it is about 1.5 km from Majestic Bus stand and City Stn main entrance.

ETA Star Puts Up 35 Acres For Sale In Bangalore

Dubai-based real estate company ETA Star Property is planning to sell around 35 acres of land near Binny Mills area in Bangalore in its bid to monetise some of its land parcels in the city.
As per sources in the industry, the land parcel is up for sale for around Rs 575 crore, which translates into Rs 4,000 per sft in the present market.

Though the property has been put on the block for the last three months, it is yet to get any buyer, the sources added.

"The company wants to off-load the property in its bid to monetise some of its land parcels in the city," sources close to the development said.

However, a mail sent to the company referring to this matter remain unanswered.

Bangalore has witnessed sale of the spinning mill land to the real estate developers in recent times as operations in the textile mills became increasingly unsustainable due to competition from other textile hubs.

Earlier, land properties of TR Mills Pvt Ltd and Chandra Spinning and Weaving Mills Pvt Ltd were also put on the block.

Companies like ETA Star and Mantri Developers had acquired some of the mill properties in the recent past and transformed them into residential and retail properties.

No plan to sell land in India: ETA Star

Dubai-based developer has a land bank of 20 million square feet in India

ETA StarETA Star, the real estate arm of the ETA Star-Ascon Group, is continuing with all its development plans for India and will not be reducing its land bank in the country, a senior company executive told Emirates 24/7.

"We are going full speed and are not selling any land in India," said ETA StarETA Star Executive Director Abid A Junaid.

An Indian media report said ETA StarETA Star was planning to sell around 35 acres of land near Binny Mills area in Bangalore.

"We are already developing 10 acres, which will have a mall with Carrefour as anchor tenant. As for the rest, we are considering joint development proposals."

The Dubai-based developer has a land bank of 20 million square feet in India and is planning to develop 500,000 square feet of land per year. It plans to launch the first phase of an integrated township project near Chennai, worth $250 million, in the third quarter, he added.

Eta Star has in excess of five million undeveloped gross floor area in the UAE. In January, Junaid had told this website that they had no launch to launch new projects in Dubai until the market was ready, while land plots in Abu Dhabi too will be developed at an appropriate time.
