Sales to be launched at Abu Dhabi's $540m Makers District project
A new tower at Pixel, the first phase of Imkan's $540 million mixed-use project, Makers District, on Reem Island, will be available for purchase this weekend.
The sales launch will take place on March 16 and 17 at Imkan's headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The project is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2021.
With a built-up area of approximately 83,000 sq m, Pixel will offer 480 residential units within 7 mixed-use residential towers that frame a pedestrianised plaza, home to over 3,500 sq m of F&B, retail and offices, as well as a signature water feature.

China's CNTC wins contract for Imkan's Pixel in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi-based developer Imkan has appointed Chinese construction company CNTC as main contractor for its seven-tower Pixel development, with work due to begin immediately and complete by Q4 2021.

Abu Dhabi-based property developer, IMKAN, which is a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Capital Group (ADCG) has revealed that it has completed the concrete substructure for its seven-tower Pixel development on Reem Island.

Completion of the 7 residential towers is supposed to be by July 2022. I think they haven't even started on "The Artery", which is supposed to be the "art centre" of the district. There are also apparently other residential buildings planned in the near future on the promenade.
It could be cool one day but seems to be slow in development.
