Excited to have completed on yet another leasehold site acquisition for a new brand to enter the market - Blue Whale Oriental supermarket @ St James Tower, Manchester. From the team at Bon Pan Asian restaurants, Blue Whale will be a brand new circa 5,500 sq ft high end oriental grocery experience offering fresh fruit and veg, Fish and Seafood, with a large 60 cover Sushi restaurant counter under a new brand Aka Sushi.

Has the Princess St branch gone? That had the worse customer service.Don't think it's been posted but the former Richmond Tea Rooms on Richmond St is going to be "Cockatoo" bar (nice pun!). An attractive sign is up. Also Vanilla has closed down.
The former Caffe Nero on Peter St has signage up for its new incarnation, Haunt Haunt Manchester – Coffee – Wine – Aperitivo. The interior looks well on its way to being complete.
The in-limbo Caffe Nero on Portland St has 2 people inside today just stood chatting. It's still listed on the website as "tenporarily closed" and all signage and fixtures are still present. Let's hope we don't lose it like Cross St, Peter St and the north end of Deansgate branches.
No, it was in fact the first to reopen last year too.Has the Princess St branch gone? That had the worse customer service.

For any one wanting to visit the above, Village tram stop on the TPL is the nearest stop, 2 mins walk from there.
