MaRS Vision
MaRS will help put Canada on the frontier of the new global economy as a major source of breakthrough innovations, increased economic performance, creative communities and improved quality of life.

MaRS Mission
MaRS fosters the development of a new culture and efficient marketplace for commercialization in Ontario. MaRS is supporting the next generation of significant global companies emerging from Canada’s strong foundation of science and technology innovation.

MaRS Strategy
MaRS is a both a physical and virtual community that connects outstanding scientists, entrepreneurs, business leaders and investors to create a more efficient commercialization marketplace. The MaRS community is built through the co-location of the target communities of science, business and capital—communities energized and engaged by catalytic programs and services and structured networks—in the MaRS Centre. These programs and networks are designed to transform co-location and connection into enhanced commercial outcomes.

Convergence Innovation:
MaRS is leading a new field of convergence innovation—building a collaborative and synergistic ecosystem of science, business and capital originating from Canada and flowing around the world.

Platforms:
MaRS is creating the platforms—both physical and virtual places—that form the locus of the ecosystem.

Programs and Services:
MaRS designs and delivers catalytic programs that accelerate and amplify the scale and significance of commercial outcomes.
