masaka is the second largest urban centre in western uganda is grwoing like its counterpart mbarara at speed it is the 8th largest urban centre in the country.the towns population is just under 100,000.

yes and no i did by basic standards like indsutrialation,size population.
It still doesn't make sense. I mean, Jinja is far more industrialised than Mbarara (and waay bigger). Gulu is bigger than Jinja and as for Mukono and Entebbe, those are more or less satellite settlements for Kampala.

masaka and mbarara the two capitals of west Uganda. mbarara is larger and more developed but masaka is now beginning to catch up.
