Masterplan for the development of Strandveien. It is located right across Nitelva from Lillestrøm. The plan was put out for public consultation earlier this month with a deadline in early January 2018.
Pretty nice and urban. But I would love to see the closed blocks be more closed, especially with the tower buildings that looks a bit seperated from the other buldings.
^^ I think it is a significant improvement. It does makes me wonder how long it will take until Strømmen and Lillestrøm grows properly together though.
Also, as mentioned in another thread, I think now it's time to start to more seriously consider the prospect of a own Lillestrøm light rail system like have been mulled around previously. Lillestrøm and its surrounding is fast developing into a proper city and its infrastructure should reflect that.
^^ I have to say that that is not very ambitious for Romerike given the level of urban growth that is happening in the region. I think it will end up as a complete chaos in the future if the growth continues with little investment in public transportation infrastructure.
