MASTERPLAN | Strandveien
Masterplan for the development of Strandveien. It is located right across Nitelva from Lillestrøm. The plan was put out for public consultation earlier this month with a deadline in early January 2018.

The project has become significantly more urban than the renders suggested back in 2013:

^^ I think it is a significant improvement. It does makes me wonder how long it will take until Strømmen and Lillestrøm grows properly together though.
Also, as mentioned in another thread, I think now it's time to start to more seriously consider the prospect of a own Lillestrøm light rail system like have been mulled around previously. Lillestrøm and its surrounding is fast developing into a proper city and its infrastructure should reflect that.

^^Don't hold your breath. The KVU has this LRT on their recommendations for 2060.
