First stage of construction for the Jinfei Smart City, more precisely the Eden Garden Center and entertainment Square, was completed yesterday.
The Center will be fully operational by September next year.
Next in line will be the commercial and financial segments of the project which is expected to be fully completed by 2024 at a cost of around $1 billion.

Eden Garden Cultural & Entertainment Square is expected to take shape in the third quarter
On 16th May 2017, The Director and Deputy General Manager of Shanxi Investments Group Co., Ltd and the Chairman of Shanxi JinFei Investment Co., Ltd, Mr. Xing Lianjun, The Deputy General Manager of The Seventh Research And Design Institute Of Nuclear Energy Construction Supervision Company, Mr. Xu Zemin, and The Manager of The Construction Supervision Company, CNNC Nuclear Engineering No.7 Research & Institute Co., Ltd, Mr. Liu Huiwen, together with the management team of Mauritius JinFei Economic Trade and Cooperation Zone Co., Ltd went for a site visit at the construction site of Eden Garden Cultural & Entertainment Square for inspection of the current situation of the project construction, and also they visited the construction company

The delegation visited the project site accompanied by the responsible person of the project contractor, China State Engineering Corporation Co., Ltd. And Mr. Xing Lianjun consulted about the construction progress, project management system, project quality control and other key issues of the project, and meanwhile carried out on-site exchange and discussion with the construction company about the asset safety and technical standards and other practical problems faced during the construction period.

Then, a meeting was held in the site conference room between the delegation and the China State Construction Engineering Corporation Co., Ltd. The company is satisfied with the supervision work of the construction and supervision company of the China State Engineering Corporation Co., Ltd and Design Institute. It is required to strengthen the safety management of personnel and assets at the construction site and speed up the progress of the project, and strive to complete the project construction in three months before the schedule. The instructions in the site are in Chinese and English reflecting control, and in particular for this project using large span prepressed steel structure and other key components. The Chairman of Shanxi JinFei Investment Co., Ltd, Mr. Xing Lianjun stressed that the project is a key investment projects in the region, but also the Shanxi provincial government and the Mauritius government is highly concerned about this project. It contributes to achieve "one way" strategy of the development of the region and has played a pivotal influence. Therefore China State Engineering Corporation Co., Ltd will have to overcome all difficulties, comply with quality standards and speed up the completion of the project, for the quick development of Mauritius JinFei Economic Trade and Cooperation Zone Co Ltd and to write a successful chapter!

It is reported that the Eden Cultural and Entertainment Garden project was invested and constructed by the Mauritius JinFei Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone. The design side was established by Beijing Qingshui Architectural Design Co., Ltd., which was built by the China Construction Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. Mauritius Branch. Qi research and design institute construction Supervision Company was responsible for the project supervision. The project covers an area of 28713 square meters, construction area of 14337 square meters, using independent foundation and reinforced concrete frame structure, and is expected to be operation in August 2018. The second floor of the building is mainly for cultural, commercial and entertainment facilities; and the level above for the space steel structure with a height of 38m is mainly as a wedding hall.
