Arata ca o vedere de la +200m :)


Ai si poze din camera de hotel?
Nu surprind prea multe elemente, pozele sunt de aproape cu membrii familiei si alte rude si prieteni, de asta as prefera sa nu le pun :)

La etajul unde eram, fiecare usa ducea la un apartament cu living, bucatarie, baie si dormitor + un alt dormitor cu baie aferenta. In total 3 camere, 2 bai si o bucatarie.

Dotarile erau de la bune in sus, in sensul ca bucataria era echipata cu samovar electric, cuptor de paine, scaune confortabile...mocheta de calitate, sofa curata, paturi potrivite...chiuveta larga cam cat o jumatate de cada, imitatie de marmura...televizor LCD diagonala 81...geamurile erau cam prafuite...

This tunnel is for a highway passing through the building or only an access to the building itself (parking, lobby, ...)?

Dedesubtul acestor colosi se afla parcarea, la care se coboara cu liftul 2 etaje. Pelerinii se urca in autocare in aceasta parcare, pana atunci se aduna la lounge, si cand a venit autocarul, incarca bagajele si se duc. Pe urma se elibereaza parcarea, coboara alti pelerini si tot asa. Toata aceasta activitate are loc fara sa se vada lumina zilei.

Nu ai o poza cu intregul hotelul pe exterior? Ce am vazut pana acuma din exterior par a fi prelucrate pe calculator.

And that clock, just like the tower, is a kitchy immitation of the Big Ben.

Yes, they are still under construction, but lower floors are exploited. Only 4 out of the 7 towers are completed as far as I know. And each tower, which is a distinct hotel, has a name. For instance the Zam-Zam tower, which is in the left of the main tower, is administred by the Accor group. I know this from the key-card they gave us.

I don't know if they're trying to imitate Big Ben or not, but at least the clock looks nice.

Unfortunately very few towers in the Middle East (Israel included) look good. There are a few in Dubai, Burj Al-Mamlaka in Riyadh, a few in Turkey and I guess Doha (Qatar) takes the cake and really has something nice on offer. Generally though, the architecture is mediocre or downright ugly.
