“Among the prospective bidders that attended the pre-bid conference for the first package of the Cebu BRT project in March 2021 were Aboitiz Construction, Inc., Megawide Construction Corp., Makati Development Corp., Socor Construction Corp., Marubeni Corp., China Civil Engineering Construction Corp., and Ascentia Construction, Inc.”

Milagro wala padag-a ang either Aboitiz or Megawide. Homecourt man unta sa Aboitiz ang Cebu. Mao sad cguro ni rason ngano gi let go ang Mactan Airport sa Megawide.

Unsa man tawon nang 4-stations oi...pangrespetar ra man tawon na...Unya mao na na ang 16B pesos nga funding sa World Bank ba to? or IMF...

Unya, ang sunod package ana, 30 years later na pud or PPP na dayon, kay way kwarta pero sige'g Libreng Sakay sa Manila, which will have a proposed budget of Php12B for 2023, and in 2022, Php8.4B ang nagastos sa Libreng Sakay.

So yes, Cebu's transport system will be privatized and Cebuanos must pay the fare...Whereas, in Manila, subsidized....

Daddy chill. Nakuratan na man lang gani ta na na-award na diay ang first package. So basin sa kaluoy sa Ginoo, magdire-diretso ra tawn ni. Bad spirit palayooooo...

On a different note, naa ba ni syay murag comprehensive report for the actual plan? Like same sa Davao BRT na naka stipulate paunsaon pagtira sa system? Aron naa tay guia sa pag monitor sa ground movements ani. Sorry if namiss nako sya diri na thread.

^Has the issue re: the alignment between Mambaling and Bulacao been solved? Yun yung objection ni Mayor Rama before right, because it would be mixed traffic?
Bulacao to Mambaling vice versa will be a feeder system. Most probably due to 2 reasons:
1) N. Bacalso from Asian College of Technology to Intersection of F. Jaca Street has only 4 lanes (2 lanes each opposite direction). So that would mean road widening which is very Expensive for LGU Cebu City.
2) Jeepney drivers plying Bulacao Pardo and Basak Pardo routes would lose their Jobs, so to compensate for their loss of livelihood, they will become feeders to the BRT. If you didn’t noticed earlier, some of these routes have recently acquired Modern Jeepneys for their fleets.

Basta ang design sa stations dili people friendly, mao ra gyud ako comment lol
FWIW, this is not Hunan Road and Bridge Construction's first project in the country. In addition to the new Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge, they also bagged a contract for a cable-stayed bridge in Cagayan last year:

Distance from Fuente Osmeña to Abellana School is approximately 1 km where the 2 bus stops will be constructed. Remember, dili ni jeepney nga ang style sa mga pasahero mo toktok or mo syagit nga hunong lang kung mo naog ka inbetween.

maayo pa ug elavated monorail na lang na diha dapita padulong sa srp ug nra para mora ta ug disneyland.

karaan naman ng brt oi. mogamay ang dalan tungod sa dedicated lane. brt namo diri wala man sa tunga kay fast lane mana. buses are known to be slower than the rest of the vehicles so anha na sa right most slow lane.

Katawa kos disneyland. Pero malay natin. Basin ang disneyland sa pinas dira pa matukod sa SRP why not diba.

Mao pud akong naisip ba. Medyo magguot ang dalan bitaw. Naa ba didto sa study na ma reduce gyud pud ang ridership sa other mode sa public transpo? Sa Davao BRT man gud, i-phase out jud tanan jeep/multicab ug pulihan syag bus na jud. So its either the BRT and the private cars na if sakto akong pagsabot.

gamay raman kaayo ng cebu so puede ang monorail ala disneyland kay siguro bahala ug traffic sa ubos basta ako naka pahimulos sa sakay sakay sa monorail dili lang gud for transportation but for entertainment.
you have a wide area down in davao so it is OK to have all fuel efficient brt buses and no more jeepneys..
