Oh, great. Yet another Ayala Mall. 🙄
it's to be expected lol, sa laki pa naman niyan......although to be fair that area is big and so far wala naman siyang direct na competitor. Ang pinakamalapit na is Robinsons Gen. Trias.

Sana lang they put more effort sa design....

Went to TriNoma yesterday for groceries (old landmark lang ang open still) We arrived nung mga 10:30-ish so I expected na wala pa masyadong tao, pero by the time na naging afternoon madami dami na din ang dumating.

Here's some updates (some might have closed already before covid, I don't remember but I'm going to enumerate nalang :p)

Closures:
  • T-Shirt Project
  • Roy & Biv
  • Tickles
  • Below SRP
  • Poke Poke :(
  • Fruit Magic :(
  • Mexicali
  • Frittery :(
  • Cath Kidston
  • Torch :(
  • Rockport
  • Inglot
  • Dorothy Perkins
  • Tempura
  • Hukad
  • LiNing
  • Mark & Spencer Food (the one beside Hilfiger)
  • Banana Leaf
New Stores:
  • Innisfree to open (former Janylin)
  • SVGA to open (beside XPrint)
  • Aeropostale has opened an outlet (former Girbaud)
Pre-Covid (not opened yet):
  • Pull & Bear
  • Jins
  • Rusty Lopez
  • Famous Amos
  • The fried chicken store sa cinema area (forgot the name lol)
  • Cyma (renov)
  • Bigoli (renov)
  • LS Pascual Optical

A lot of stores are still currently closed. Hopefully not for good....

Totoo to. Wala masyadong dine-in customers, puro Grab at take-out nakapila. Pinakakawawa ay retail, wala talagang nagsho-shopping. :(

^^especially clothing stores, ang hirap bumili kasi ngayon fitting is still not allowed....unless you're already 100% sure of what you'll buy

I have a friend who works for a certain jeans brand that are found in SM Stores, and he says na halos wala daw bumibili ng brand nila sa QC SM Store branches na hinahandle nya (North EDSA, Nova, Fairview).

I’m not sure. Nakikita ko lang kasi yung pila sa Nike every weekend when I buy groceries and run errands.

That’s true. I was actually looking for a laptop, but every store that I visited these past few weeks all don’t have the specific model I’m looking for. Kahit online shops, madaming models na out of stock na.

Good news, bikers! SM says it’s going to be cyclist-friendly starting this September
ANCX Staff | Sep 16 2020
Many cyclists who bike around the Mall of Asia complex will be happy to learn SM is getting with the program. This September, the shopping mall chain giant will be rolling out its bike-friendly initiative, and it will start with the SM Mall of Asia complex in Pasay.

First off, the initiative promises convenient, safe, and accessible bicycle parking. SM also commits to increasing its bike parking capacity in MOA by 50 per cent by adding bike racks and new street-level bike parking zones very near mall and shop entrances.

This is the first time I’ve seen this ad for Ayala Malls. Not as catchy as their “Lov’emall” ads before, with the “More Today Than Yesterday” jingle.

What about electric kick scooters? I've been thinking about getting an electric kick scooter but I don't know where to park it safely in the mall. It's too heavy to carry it around with me inside.

Not sure if EKS users can also use that racks but they could also benefit from that.

^^ Maganda sana BGC based on affluent population, pero MOA would also qualify.
