EDIT (10/08/2022): I didn't realise magiging thread opener ang post ko, so adding here the link to the past thread. Enjoy!

EDIT by Thomasian: Hehehe. Sorry late edit for the link, nauna ka na. Here's Queetz's post about it anyway....

Recently updated policy of Festival Mall Alabang in relation to the anticipated typhoon. Shopwise will be open until 8 PM. Savemore will be open until 9 PM. The mall will accommodate those who will seek shelter due to the typhoon. Designated restrooms will be open. Overnight parking fees will be waived at certain parking areas.

YouTube Video of Twist n' Shout Roller Coaster at Great World of Fun, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall. It is one of the last surviving mall indoor roller coasters in the Philippines. Festival Mall Alabang is another mall with an indoor roller coaster at X-Site which is claimed to be the largest indoor roller coaster here in the Philippines.

Greenhills, taken earlier today (09/25/2022) - Part 1

O-Square 1

And parang nag-downsize yata ang Starbucks dito. I don't remember na ganyang kaliit ang 2nd floor, andyan ako every Wednesday night for a few months before the pandemic.

O-Square 2

Greenhills, taken earlier today (09/25/2022) - Part 2

Greenhills Shopping Center

- Plus some updates on the temporary accessway to V-Mall/chapel

Taken earlier today (09/25/2022)

I wonder what they're planning to do there.

any updates sa 4th floor?
None :p The vacant spaces sa fourth floor garden restaurants remain vacant, snack joints sa cinema area no updates as well, Ma Chicken Mami House, Jamaican Patty, Persian Ave, Famous Amos, DQ, and Potato Corner are still the only ones open, El Pollo Loco hasn't opened yet...:)

Where kaya sa Morato? Anonas LRT City Center branch will be operational until October 4. :(
“It’s clear that one store alone will not be enough. The Pasay City store is the beginning for Ikea in the Philippines. There’s the possibility of more stores to come. It’s just a matter of time,” Ikea Philippines manager Georg Platzer told reporters on the sidelines of a seminar organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP).

He said more stores are certainly needed in Metro Manila alone given the metropolis’ big and growing market. “So we need to have a second and maybe even a third store in Metro Manila to provide the needs of the growing number of consumers,”Platzer said.
Hope they push through with the SM Fairview branch, or at least anywhere in the north of MM.
Hopefully sa South NCR if they will veer away beside an SM mall, could be ideal within Filinvest City Alabang so that it will be centrally accessible to Laguna, Cavite and Batangas. If sa Southmall kasi parang sa Cavite lang malapit and traffic pa madalas sa narrow na national road dun.And most likely na matutuloy ang PNR - South Commuter line, so its a plus factor if they locate in Alabang.
also SM Southmall will be a tight squeeze for them me thinks  compared to Fairview. Filinvest is a good choice, lots of vacant spaces, they could target other existing townships/estates as well like Southwoods or Nuvali. (but that's for the other thread now 🤭). Space is definitely a huge priority for IKEA
Aside from Filinvest City, methinks somewhere in Daang Hari would be a good option sa magiging site ng IKEA sa south. Mukhang may large tract of [vacant] land pa naman sa either Vermosa or Villar City (or whatever their latest name is 😛).

🤭 If ever I'd personally prefer Arcovia, though baka pwede rin sa Bridgetowne East or Parklinks. In any case, magandang pang-promote din eto ng estates nila if ever.

Okay ako sa Bridge Town East. Kasi taga Rizal ako so pabor sa mga taga East Pasig & Rizal Area hehe. Ngayon kasi is IKEA only exclusive to SM or are they allowed to open in other competitors of SM?

But they have to make do with a smaller store there.

Maybe, it wouldn't have to be as big as the Ikea Square in SM-MoA but the vast open spaces for parking and steel parking structure within Festival Alabang can still accomodate an Ikea store that can be an ideal component of further expansion of FA into a mixed-use complex. The new parks in Filinvest City will also be a complement for an Ikea branch in NCR - South.
I think Megamall will be the second IKEA branch because of the recent posts about IKEA and Megatrade Hall. Then the third would be on SM Fairview or pagsisiksikan nila sa SM North Edsa yung third branch.
