Looks like buendia lang ang direct access to Makati(SB). Tsk! Once everything's back to normal with this skyway open, cant imagine the scenario sa buendia - osmeña intersection. They should at least build another ramp prior Magallanes interchange and reopen the edsa (NB) access para mahati ang traffic somehow.

Depende na yan sa SanMig kung gusto nilang gumastos sa pagtayo ng additional ramp. Malaki na din nadagdag sa gastos nila nung mareroute sa San Juan River ang Pandacan to Araneta segment kesa dun sa original via Nagtahan. Kung malaki and projected traffic volume na gagamit nitong ramp pwede siguro ituloy ang ramp.
I can see 1 lane ramps are still possible since may space na iniwan si SMC dun sa 3 tulay. hindi nakadisplay yung skyway sa gitna

At 0.46 seconds you would see the paved the outer lane, and no sign of any ramp. Does this mean there won't be any more SB on ramp?
^^IMO tama lang wala. Ang ikli na rin naman ng distance tapos magbabayad na naman.
Sa akin okay na meh ramp pa din diyan. Para imbis na sa DLR on-ramp ka ba akyat eh diyan na. Since magiging strictly all RFID access nadin naman, pwede maglagay ng sensor diyan sa mga on-ramp /off-ramps para diyan idetect yung entry / exit point mo [accuracy of sensor reading another discussion though].

Maganda nga kung mala Taiwan no toll barriers na talaga eh. Pero ang hirap lang dun sa S4 na yung mga poste asa gitna.

Gano katagal ba yung asphalting? Aabot ba yan ng December deadline parang ang ikli pa lang.
Abot yan. Relatively madali na asphalt overlay works. Though mukang lose 2-3 days gawa ni Rolly kung tatamaan nya MM].

^^ Tingin ko Laybay lang yan.

Mahirap iimplement yung sa Taiwan freeway dito sa atin dahil di digitally connected ang transport at personal bank accounts natin pati na rin mga colorum at mga abusado kagaya nanlang ng tricycle at motor below 400cc na papadanin sa mga expressway.

^^ Yep, pero at least MPIC has publicly stated they are looking at doing and implementing it in 2-3 years' time. SMC wala talaga statement so far on this.

Pero since magiging all RFID nga at some point in time lahat ng legal na dumaan sa expressways...baka naman.

I think traffic flow would much need an on ramp after Quirino Osmena SB. Skyway was meant to relieve the Circumferential Roads C-4.

So to relieve C-4 you would also have to take traffic off C-3 Quirino and C-2 Buendia. If you force SB vehicles to access skyway to have to go along Osmena (ie backup traffic along C-2,then have to cross Buendia or Edsa - its kind of a waste and more at grade traffiic. There are so many trucks on Osmena going to SLEX SB all day.

SMC build so many ramps on Plaza Dilao, Nagtahan all at or near Quirino mostly offramps), that it would make sense balance this and add another on ramp to take more vehicles.

Also note that Skyway was meant complete the missing link of C-3 ie, StaMesa Araneta to Makati Buendia, and run skyway over Quirino. So it would make sense to allow as much access to Skwyay via Quirino and hence C-3.

Also there is the buendia to quirino NB on and off ramp. Why not the other direction SB?

^^I'm no expert on asphalts so a genuine question. Does the potential heavy rains that the typhoon will bring affect the quality of the paved asphalt?

Iniisip ko kasi baka mababad yan sa tubig e kakalatag lang.

pag light rain pwede pero pag malakas ang ulan hindi. pag masyadong mabilis mag-cool down ang aspalto ay di maganda. another thing, basically oil and water does not mix kaya pwedeng magkaroon ng flaws yung aspalto pag nababasa habang lumalamig.

Traffic na nga sa intersection in buendia before the skyway, what more when it opens
