Yes. I agree. They should either refurbish the 2 old buildings or stick with the old proposal since it looks more original and Indonesian-ish.

No word on it. But it'll probably be 6 months, the earliest. Anyone out there have information??

I dont like how they will renovate Wisma 3 but not Wisma 2. Its either they do both, or none of them. It will just look really weird, since WTC, Wisma 2 and 3 are in uniform with each other...creating a good balance.

But otherwise, nice proposal

^^ the design of the towers could be better though, they just look so unremarkable and unoriginal.

I think the office tower next to Wisma 2 is fine. I like it actually. But the other towers, yeah...not that good, they copy the designs of other buildings in Jakarta.
I do like the wavy roof of the retail area

I see, now I understand the reason why we have to move after the contract ended this end of the year. Actually what I heard is they want to use Wisma 1 as a hotel,not to renovate the whole land area.

The new PT Jakarta Land's website should have been refurbished late February but it seems to be unfinished\ delayed.

Does that mean the Canadian embassy will also move away from Wisma 1? or has it moved?

I saw some of the occupants in the Wisma2 have already moved to another place. I also heard from the rumour that the Metropolitan complex does not belong to Jakarta land anymore, an Indonesian millioanire has bought it from them.
