Safety investigators say they have no plans to look into an incident involving a Malaysia Airlines and Tigerair Australia plane at Adelaide Airport on Tuesday.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 136 to Kuala Lumpur was forced to stop mid take-off on the runway after the Tigerair flight from Melbourne had to change its landing approach.

In a statement, Air Services Australia said reports of a "near miss" were inaccurate and that at no time was the safety of any passengers or aircraft at risk.

Malaysia Airlines would not comment on the incident. Although not at fault, it has brought the carrier's name into headlines again following the twin tragedies of MH-17 and MH-370 this year.

A MALAYSIA Airlines flight to India returned to Kuala Lumpur yesterday due to an autopilot defect shortly after takeoff.
The captain turned back as a precaution and the defect didn’t affect the safety of the aircraft or passengers, the airline said.
The Boeing 738 plane, which had been heading to Hyderabad, landed safely at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport nearly four hours after takeoff, the airline statement.
Malaysia Airlines has had two major disasters this year. Flight 370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing disappeared in March with 239 people on board. It is presumed to have crashed in the southern Indian Ocean though no trace has been found. Underwater vehicles equipped with side-scan sonar, multi-beam echo sounders and video equipment are being deployed to search the seabed.
In July, 298 people were killed when Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down over Ukraine.

We tried to book a flight via MAH 2 weeks ago, on Wednesday, the agent quoted $928. on Thursday, it is reduce to $780. Very good deal, so my wife is about to confirm on Friday, and they say the price has changed again, it is $940.

We did end up choosing another airline.

Singapore and Cathy Pacific has no seats for us in very much whole of Dec, MAH is cheaper but we (and the travel agent) doubt their reliability, they could have go broke, or if restructure, or reduce services can disrupt our plan.

No, it is still lost. Even if the flaperons is proven to come from MH370.
