^^ Wow another possible 1000' footer for the "Magic City", man this is ridiculous!
Melo Group recently met with city officials about a newly purchased property at Northeast Fifth Street and Miami Avenue.
In July, the developer paid $10 million for a 45,433-square-foot surface parking lot once owned by the Christ Fellowship Baptist Church. Melo is required to build a 300-space parking garage for the church as part of the deal.
Turkish developer Okan Group purchased the other half of the lot, and has submitted plans for a 73-story tower.
Up to 80-stories, 1.09 million square feet, and 1,043 residential units are permitted. The developer is said to be planning rental apartments.
I think that's probably accurate right now. Honestly, until shovels hit dirt I can't get too worked up about any proposals for the simple reason a lot of them never wind up happening.Only problem is that the real estate cycle isn't conducive for any of them to even get built. Lot's of proposals but no ground breakings as of yet.

I mean, look how excited we all were (myself included) when OBP was first proposed. But that was a looong time ago at this point. So long ago that I think it's probably dead, unfortunately.
But here's to hoping otherwise, anyway!
Melo hasn't released renderings for there project yet. Rendering at the 1st post is just a placeholder.Spellbound,Please/.solve.this.Confused.Man,ME,
