Miami Worldcenter Signature Tower To Rise 749 Feet

Miami Worldcenter Associates submitted plans to the FAA last week for a residential tower called Worldcenter Signature Tower.

If approved, it would rise 749 feet above sea level (738 feet above ground level) – the maximum permitted in the area.

It will be located at 129 NE 8th St, across from the NAP of the Americas and above The Mall At Miami Worldcenter.

[...]
*Height is from ground level, floor count is an estimate.

Miami Worldcenter Teases Its Signature Tower, Paramount

Miami Worldcenter is thisclose to launching sales of its signature residential tower, Paramount, pulling a flashy teaser ad in Ocean Drive Magazine, as well as launching the building's website. Oh, and of course, exMiami says they are. Unfortunately, a scant few renderings have been made public (which really makes you wish city building department records would finally be digitized and put online so we could just look this shit up because technically it is public record over there) but they're about to pull the lid off the big reveal and show everyone what they've got.

Paramount Miami Worldcenter: new soccer field rendering

eading toward its goal of creating a soccer field on Paramount Miami Worldcenter’s ninth floor, the project’s developer just released the first rendering of the amenity, complete with players and spectators. Daniel Kodsi, developer of Paramount Miami Worldcenter, had unveiled plans to TRD for his 60-story project, which will include a soccer field, along with tennis courts, pools and a running course, all part of an outdoor sports complex on the condo tower’s ninth floor recreation deck. Twelve Balinese-style, two-story villas surrounded by pools and other water features will also occupy the same floor. - See more at: http://therealdeal.com/miami/blog/2...-soccer-field-rendering/#sthash.PVCmO5hO.dpuf

Paramount MWC Will Have the Mother of All Amenity Decks

In the condo tower amenities arms race, the 60-story, $400 million Paramount Miami Worldcenter has dominated lately, with a slew of revelations including its yacht-like rooftop fun-plex, and the fact that it will have a 9th floor amenity deck the scale of which just might be unparalleled anywhere in Miami thanks to the fact that it's being built on top of a mall. Renderings of various features of the amenity deck have already surfaced, including the pool, the spa's "outdoor bath gardens", the Balinese-style villas, and the soccer field, but finally we get to see how it all just might come together thanks to a few new renders that broker Michael Light has dropped on his blog. The spread includes "a sports complex featuring tennis courts, a soccer field and a running track, relaxation seating, pools, unique pool pods and 12 Balinese-style, 2-story villas surrounded by pools and other water features!"

"After teasing for far too long, Paramount Miami Worldcenter has finally launched its website, along with this video that shows the condominium tower's many epic amenity levels in all their glory. (Hat tip: Miami Luxury Homes) Renderings (after the jump) show the building's ground entrance and mall entrance, the conservatory on the 9th level, some very creative outdoor seating, the 'Jam Room recording studio', the soccer pitch, and the three-level, building-topping 'Yacht Skyview Deck"

Worldcenter To Begin Construction In April Or May; Mekka Nightclub Will Be Demolished Soon

http://www.thenextmiami.com/index.p...-may-mekka-nightclub-will-be-demolished-soon/

Get ready for a lot of demolition in Park West over the next few weeks as Worldcenter prepares to begin construction.

One building that will soon be gone is currently housing Mekka Nightclub, at 950 NE Second Ave. The club will host a final farewell party on Sunday, March 29.

Michael Slyder, the owner of the club, told Miami New Times that Miami World Center (his landlord) will begin construction in ‘April or May.’ Mekka’s building, along with many others, will be demolished.

The club sits in the site where The Mall at Miami Worldcenter will be built. It is being developed by The Forbes Company and Taubman.

Worldcenter recently received good news when a judge denied a lawsuit by the owners of Grand Central Park and Grand Central lounge opposing street closures for Worldcenter (more on this coming soon.)
