Minnescraper down for good?

To all of the loyal Minnescraper forumers here—does anyone know for certain what's going on over at Minnescraper.com? The forum has been down now for more than a month. Seems almost like the person(s) who runs the site has gone AWOL.

Considering it's basically the only all-encompassing source for news about upcoming projects in the Twin Cities, I'm surprised we haven't heard at least something—anything—via Facebook or Twitter.

I hope whatever the problem is, it gets resolved soon, because I don't know how much longer I can stave off Minnescraper withdrawal!

Hopefully a new forum pops up. It's weird that there hasn't been any communication from the admin of Minnescraper, it was a solid forum.
It does seem like the problem must be more severe than initially thought. I remember once it had some serious security/malware/virus problems that kept me and many others away from it for sometime. But it did eventually come back. So I'm not giving up hope.

But I must add I've always been a little disappointed in the membership numbers on minnescraper. Only around 400 registered users, most of whom rarely post. You'd think in a metro our size we'd garner more users. I know there are thousands more lurkers who read the forum. But still.

can we start a temporary replacement forum perhaps? I have no idea how much work/money or whatever that would actually take, or how to do it at all, I'm just wondering if it would be worth it.

Well for the skyscraper enthusiests I can't say there's many if any being built presently.

True. 1368 LaSalle's prospects don't seem very good. But Nico. Residences sounds like it's moving ahead. And there are a lot of small-scale projects underway.

I miss the reading about the LRT construction updates most.
I've often wondered why we don't have a Twin Cities subforum here.

+1 Plenty of Twin Cities forumers plus a beautiful skyline
Lot's of Up's and Down's past two weeks...

I keep checking, site has been up and down several times during the weeks of May 27th and June 3rd. Even allowed a few posts for a short time, but since then the site went completely down again.

Checking tonight, site is up again, but forum is not readable and cannot post.

Still no word from admin on Twitter/FB.

In the meantime many of Minnescraper members have been keeping up a conversation @:

They should just create a Twin Cities sub Forum , SSP has sub forums for Denver and Portland so SSC should have one for the Twin Cities.
Doesn't seem like UrbanMSP is working today either.

it was definitely working a few hours ago, but now it seems like you are right. whenever I click a link, it just brings me to the homepage again... :(
Looks like UrbanMSP is back up and running again. Crisis averted!
