wonderful town




Miri is a extreemly clean and well cared town by the sea. The Cleanest town in Malaysia..cleaner than Kuching indeed.
People are a bit provincer and rich??? most of them live in a beautiful bungalow lots ...they love their town so much.
small town with big ambition
I was there to visit my best friend's family 5 years ago :)

Curtin To Lead Debate On Biovalley Satellite Plan

PERTH, Feb. 25 /MediaNet International-AsiaNet/ -- Curtin University of Technology will lead discussion towards a Sarawak BioValley at a symposium for senior figures from government, industry and academia to be held at Miri Sarawak in March.

Sarawak BioSymposium: Towards the Sarawak BioValley Satellite will build on the vision set by Tun Dr Mahatir at the launch of BioValley Malaysia in 2003, and is being sponsored by the University.

Curtin Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Development Professor Barney Glover said the symposium aimed to provide a roadmap for the introduction of biotechnology in Sarawak.
