yea but not any salt lake as that effect
its as if they dont even penetrate the water, its probably like 5 cm deep, the ratio of salinity is really high porbably
The main salt lake in Iran is several times larger that Hoze Soltan lake and is located in the east of the city of Qom, it is just called Salt Lake (Daryacheh-ye Namak), this one seems to be more watery and fragile than Hoze Soltan, I had posted some pics of tha famous Jazire Sargardan (Wander Island) in this lake in Nature thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=221738&page=18
