While railway is rightly deemed to be one of the safest means of transportation, we must not forget that the potential for accidents still exists.
Here is the story of one of the most spectacular freight train transports and possibly one of the costliest derailments of recent years (no life loss, luckily):
Montana Rail Link train derails while carrying six Boeing 737 aircraft fuselages, all eventually scrapped:
