I really like this one. It would be nice if Toronto could make a trade: N1 for this.
Interesting. I don't see the resemblenence. BUT, it is much better than another copy of NYCCs copy of Empire. I do like the base, but why is it so long. Is it because another phase will go in later.Travis007 said:, then this should be a copy of the Chrysler Building, it even has gargoyles.
Hehe, Mississauga is entering the Gothic revolution a tad bit behind the others.Dino Domingo said:Gargoyles Rock!
They're unique and rare, but probably would be more appropriate in downtown Toronto.
I think Toronto copies everyone style actually. We got Vancity condo's on the Lakeshore, NYC condo & Yonge/Dundas (Times Square wannabe), and a sprinkle of Chicago styles up and about. I don't mind it that much as a whole . Nothing wrong with mixing styles up. It's using too much of one style that is more of an issue.rapideye95 said:I'm kind of pissed at daniels...why do canadians try to be like americans...it gets worse and worse everyday...i do not like having "New York" inspired buildings as mississauga's tallest building...the whole idea disqusts me...they have have the rockafeller now in the works....plus empire at bayview....it's fukin sickening...someone grab me a puke bucket...soon toronto still be even more of a laughing stock along with mississauga....i was watching jon stewart the other day on his show that he has where he mentioned toronto....and his audience is in tears laughing...not good...how embarrasing
