Mitteleuropa by train

Pics from Central European countries: Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and even Slovenia or Croatia. Mitteleuropa is actually a concept invented by the House of Habsburg, especially after 1700 to sustain their claims in the former Ottoman territories, and re-invent the "reconquest" area. The Danubian Monarchy and its provinces are similars, so I'll try to show you cities from this areas. Because the majority of photos were taken in this area and my journeys were made by trains, I decided to say it simply: Mitteleuropa by train.

Enjoy your virtual travel in Central Europe

Arriving by Metropol train in Bratislava Hlavna stanica

at 23.52 the train arrives in Břeclav. Here Metropol split up: the carriges to Warsaw goes to Otrokovice -> Ostrava -> Katowice, the other part goes to south to Vienna, and the rest of the train goes to Berlin. I stayed here half an hour. And also in Břeclav the Czech police did a random legitimation of passengers due to refugees.

Of course, when you go in Prague the first stop is Vltava and the Charles bridge :)
