EDIT: The OFFICIAL new height of the building is 206 m
Yesterday, it has been officially started the construction of the tallest building (until Torre Santander construction starts during first quarter next year) in the Monterrey Area. It is known as "Pabellón Monterrey" and it will be 182 m in height and approximately 40 floors.
It is part of a bigger project aimed at redeveloping Monterrey's downtwown, which in the past decades was ignored in favour of newer neighbordhoods (Del Valle and others).

This mixed-use project, already under construction in Monterrey's downtown (historic and touristic district), consists of a 206 meters tall Tower, and an egg/bean shaped auditorium.
