Winning Design Chosen For Montevideo’s New Antel Arena

The City of Montevideo will soon have a state-of-the-art arena for concerts and sporting events when the Antel Arena opens its doors to the public in 2015.
An important step in the design process was taken yesterday when the winning architectural proposal for the US$40 million facility was selected by a panel of judges including Rafael Vinoly and Giancarlo Mazzanti, the Colombian architect behind the Medellin Arena.
