This are some pic are from Moscow trip by polish forumer Michau (and with his kind permission). He did excellent threads on all cities he visited (Kyiv f.e.)
Most of the buidings on this pics are outside Sadovoe Ring, which is unofficial border of the old city. Old city on next tread...

as i noticed first time michau posted them:

all pics were taken within walk distance of:
1. Hotel Ukaraina
2. Ukraina street.
3. Taras Shevchenko embakment.
4. Kiev Railway Station :)

Good quality pictures. Is everything in Moscow's downtown related to Ukraine in names? :)

Moscow is very beautiful!

I especially love "Hotel Ukraina", and not because of it's name. I love it's form ... it looks a bit like a castle, very ornate.

Very nice pictures. I am always impressed with Moscow, and I've really enjoyed those photos.
I've always know it was a extremely large city, but I never thought that it was THAT big. :)

but the top is to big and kitchy Lomonosov institut is by far the prettiest of Stalin's sisters:)
