Moscow Undergound or Metro

The interiors are somewhat extraordinary (iirc St.Petersburg's metro appears in quite a similar way). Though i don't really like it. Underground transportation and stations should be something what serves its function and is minimalistic in terms of architecture, especially as it comes to decorations like these. Just feels a little... weird (not in the most positive meaning).
John, you are probably right, but ten again we are dealing with Russia...
It reminds me of an elaborately themed Disney ride. :D

Words can't explain my opinion.. Just incredible metrowalk architecture. I just wonder how they could put so much resources to build such metrowalks.

Btw. I heard it's forbidden to take photos in those metro stations. Why so?

Anyways, I think Metro is the best thing USSR ever did. These stations are magnificent and no "modern" station will ever live up to these soviet ones.
