I don't understand how you can pick out one city out of thousands on a continent and label it most developed. I just don't get it. :dunno:

Melilla, Spain? :wtf: that's an insult to africa! The term developed used was infra, social services, economy, etc. Cities that stand out in Africa:
Casablanca
Rabat
Algiers
Cairo & Alexandria (to an extent, dont' know much about them)
Tunis
Joburg
Cape Town
and to an extent....Nairobi and Lagos (they're growing at a fast pace :D)

You see why I don't like the term 'most developed'. :gaah: it's hard to label one city in Africa as most developed, it's hard for any continent (imo).

North America - NYC/Chicago

South America - Sao Paulo

'Australia' - Melbourne/Sydney (Brisbane in 18 months will be a serious contender)

Cape town is not that good, I would go for windhoek or Harare

Not sure about the rest.

By "developed" I mean public transport, planning, other transport facilities and infrastructure (such as seaports, airports and flight connections relevant to geographical location) and not least the social culture and mentality of the population.
