i miss cwb also ...
the hennesey centre reminded me of a building
in singapore the calculator building ...
lets hope kpf does something imaginative there ...

yeah sogo was change to blue ... and they recladded it ...
i wonder were they trying to differentiate themselves
being owned by a hong kong company now and trying to expand into china

I think Sogo and Seibu will be the only major Japanese department store to run in HK. Daimaru is gone and so is Matsuzakaya and Isetan.

Sogo doesn't fall under Japanese ownership anymore. It is locally owned but it retained the Japanese name. There are plans under way to do a Sogo IPO on the HK Stock Exchange.

Even if Sogo is locally owned nothing has changed. They're still selling the same products. Plus you can still buy Japanese products in it's supermarket or Japanese books or magazines on the top floor.
