My Prague Pics (Part 1)

Hey guys!

So I think most of you don't know me, I've been living in Germany for the last 2 months and on the last weekend (holiday) we rented a car and drove all the way from Berlin to Prague and visited the city, Kutna Hora and Karlovy Vary on the way back.

Well, my impressions about Prague then... I found the city EXTREMELY beautiful and sometimes I just kept saying "oh what a beautiful city, jeez" hahaha, sometimes I can't control that. We visited a museum about the Communism and it was really interesting. We also went around Mala Strana, the Castle, Charles Bridge, the Jewish quarter, etc etc, so yeah, we basically stuck to the tourist areas of town. Anyway, very beautiful, very interesting!

So now for the first set of pics, I'm not gonna put subtitles cuz I don't know much and you definetly know it better! :D

Hi Schmidt.

Thanks for sharing your pictures :). Some of them, especialy from Nove Mesto district, are quite original and not so known by many tourists... There is a large heritage of german/austrian architects' work in Prague, as you probably know :)... (11) The so called Dancing House is Prague best modern architecture example. But in fact, yes, it is just a building of commercial use... (17) The museum-like building is the National museum :D. Nobody gets in, because the all-time exhibition is mostly considered as boring :D. Well, you were feeling happy in the czech capital and I feel happy because of that :):):).

Because you liked your trip, I am giving you a suggestion to visit Czechia again. There is not little to see just by your Berlin-Prague route. Leaving Dresden there is beautifull border region where the Labe/Elbe river crosses the czech/german border. It is called České Švýcarsko/Sächsiche Schweiz scaped by sand-based sculptures. There is also the České středohoří natural protected area later you drive on. It is the part where Berlin-Prague highway is missing (ecologist's protests relong it's construction ) in czech territory :D. It's specifity is vulcanic origin. By the higway you have some pretty, preserved towns like Litoměřice or Roudnice nad L. (Lovosice/Roudnice nad L. Exit). There is czech largest Nazi concentrate camp museum in Terezín (Lovosice or Doksany Exit). When driving by Roudnice nad L. Exit you see the Říp hill, which, following legend, the great-grand father Čech and his troupes climbed on, loved the view, decided to settle down and found the czech nation :D...

Grüss nach Berlin.

What a beautiful photos :) Thanks for them! Can't wait part 2.
Well yeah guys, I know that building was very famous, but dunno, maybe I expressed myself wrong! :D

On our way to Prague we saw some very beautiful little cities on our way between the Czech border and Prague which I'd have loved getting out of the car and taking some pics. Actually I found Czech Republic very beautiful with a gorgeous landscape! Valleys, rivers and villages... very beautiful, reminded me of home a bit.

As a Berliner, you should visit Reichenberg/Liberec, former german capital of N. Bohemia;) I think Germany is much nicer country.. especially Zittau and Görlitz in Saxony are amazing, some places in Bavaria (Cham) are great and I like Rheinland too..
