Niiice, Amman looks very interesting, thanks for sharing!
Yeah it a nice place but I never liked the people, Syrians and Lebanese are cool and also you have big billboards of King Abdullah everywhere and its so annoying like a communist state!
I think most Jordanians genuinely like their monarch. Great pictures though.

well i dont know about others but mostly people in our group and our tour leader thought so, i mean it was ok but when you come from syria and lebanon you definatly notice the difference because they are so freindly and cool , what i really didnt like was the Jordanian border security when we traveled in from syria, our bus it was full of tourists and they held us up for 4 hours!!! even although they knew we was all travelers

maybe if you just go Jordan you dont notice it so much, but when compared to others theres a difference but its a nice country i liked the deserts :)
i am deeply sorry for yuor trouble
i ve been to those countries
and i agree real work should be done with the borders and it is but they are resesting the wends of change
again as we say in jordan if our land wont hold we will hold yuo on our heads
sorry brother

hey freind no problem, jordan is a great place and im not judging the whole countrys population by my own isolated experiences rather it was just what we felt when we was there thats all no problem with good jordanian freinds :)

im not saying for 1 second that ALL jordanians arent nice that would be a big mistake, the bedoiuns in Wadi Musa and Wadi Ram were the most hospiable. :)
actually i think the trouble u had was due to the crossing point of your journey
thats arabic politics for u
Cool pics Asif. :eek:kay: Where there a lot of tourists in Petra? Which year did you go?

Petra was full of tourists so many of them, even when we climbed to the highest point to see this citadel we thought no one else could be there to our suprise there was a gift shops and 100s of tourists its really famous and a experience one in a lifetime

I was there in summer of 2005 :)
Petra is such a beauty :) i can't say the same about Amman though ...
Wow Asif. I am so glad to come across your shots. They are so nice and very cool.
Thanks for sharing them :)

Jordan is a very touristy hotspot. Anyway, greeat pics, Asif ! I wish I were u

It's really surprising that Amman is located in such a steep geographical setting. How about the infrastructure in Jordan ? From the pics they all look nice, like in Saudi . The cars look brand-new and flashy. :)

thanks skyprince, and yes Amman is a very "hilly" city its sometimes called the city of seven hills because of its location and walking around can sometimes be quite challanging

infrastructure in Jordan is very good when compared with syria for example, the roads are clean and very well laid out and the dual carrageways are also very good

and yeah the cars are big heres a story from when i was there, there is a area in Amman where all the younger guys and girls hang out i cant remember the name of it, and the guys just drive round this road in a circle picking up the girls!!! its so funny cus theres not much nightclubs its a place where people just hang out and chill and blast music in thier cars i seen like M3s and AMGs god knows where they get the money from!:)

but its really worth a vist cus girls are all dressed up and have like full make-up and guys are all dressed in thier cars the one with the best car gets the girl with the best looks!!! lol
