This was my 3rd time in Montreal (I previously visited in 2004 and 2007)
What struck me on this occasion was the complete absence of snow which is extremely rare for January, however it was still very cold with a temperature of -16 C (3 F) and a wind-chill of -25 C (-13 F) so I wasn't able to take many photos as my hands were freezing

Nice selection there! What made you decide to go in winter? Were you just curious to experience what it is like or did you not know how cold it can get?
