My trip to Sweden and Finland

My best friend is an Erasmus-exchange-student in Uppsala, Sweden. So, that was an excuse for us friends to travel up to the North and surprise him. We mostly stayed in his little apartment and enjoyed crazy Swedish student pardies in Uppsala. But we traveled to Finnland as well and had many opportunities to see Stockholm. Sweden and the Swedish girls were fantastic, but I enjoyed Finland much more! Though it was freezing cold I had my best time there: the Finish nightlife is amazing, Finish girls look wow, Helsinki was one of the coolest cities I've ever seen and I had my best beer, LAPIN KULTA. Here are my impressions from Scandinavia:

In the night we arrived we joined a very crazy Swedish students pardy:

Us five with my surprised friend on the very left:

My friend Tino with a Swedish girl:

The Carslberg Tower in Uppsala:

Don't ask...

The next day in Uppsala Downtown:

The cathedral of Uppsala:

The Univerysity of Uppsala Mainbuilding:

The amazing Aula:

Chilling in the "nations" of Uppsala's studentships:

Us five in a toy store:

Second Swedish pardy:

Hangover-breakfast in Stockholm:

Impressions from Stockholm:

Records bazaar in the opera hall:

Hanging in a lounge:

The next day we get on the ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki where I took amazing shots from Swedish villas and little castles:

This ferry is supposed to be the "pardy boat". Well...

So I swinged my drunk friend Tino in a trolley:

Finally we arrived to beutyful Helsinki:

With a little ferry we visited the island Suomenlinna:

It was sooooooooo cold!!!!

Helsinki at night:

Ready to paaardy:

In Baarikärpenen:

The next day we rented a car and drove to Porvo, a little charming shore town:

Back in Helsinki we visited the Olympic Tower. But it was so foggy that the view was terrible:

Leaving Helsinki:

Last night in Uppsala before leaving:

Wow, I see you guys had quite cool trip! And adding those "yyaayy, it's great, let's snap some pics though we are sooo drunk" pics are a good spice to normal photo threads. ;)

Yep, unfortunately spring takes over very late here - this year even later than normally. I promise that during the warm season you could enjoy a lot more! And then you can have fun through the whole night (summer nights get barely dark in Finland) outside those unbearably expensive bars (Baarikärpänen is an exception with it's human prices).

Yep, if the boat is full of Swedes, it falls asleep at 10 o clock..! :colgate:

Not, but really, these ships are more vibrant during weekends and holiday seasons.

Hahaha, you were in Porvoo? I live in Porvoo! I walk past some of those scenes daily :)
When were you here if you don't mind me asking?

You should have stayed for the amazing nightlife.. :|
@ Jape: Thanks a lot! it was really a cool trip. Everybody was saying that it was an unusually cold season. But it was interesting for us to see the frozen sea. Switzerland is cold as well, but not that freezing! ,)

@ Joka: Porvo was cool, but we were the only tourists! ,) We were told that the city is going to be visited in summer. But anyway, we had great fun and the old town is amazing! And we stayed in Helsinki and saw the amazing nightlife! Do you know Barikärpänen? :) There are pretty ladies and the club was pumping though it was a monday night!

@ Jarmo: Move on!

Yeah there are many cool clubs there.. I visit Baarikärpänen very often... it used to be called "Barfly" which is "baarikärpänen" in English ! :D

The clubs in Helsinki are much better designed than the ones in Sweden. The nightlife over here is pretty good compared to many cities I have visited in Europe !

Seems that your trip was interesting, because you could visit some beautiful cities and had some fun also. Porvo looks quite charming indeed. But second picture after "leaving Helsinki" pic... I didn`t expect such photo in this forum, lol(?).
