I'm sorry. My first margarita kicked in and I got overly anxious.
Great pano of Nashville. :cheers2:
Nashville is definitely a Southern boom city.
Love the ridges in the background. Nashville seems to have similar topography to Birmingham, AL.
Cool Photo. I was going to ask in the other thread about the location of some the condo projects relative to DT. This answers my question.
that's an awesome pano! good job.
Great shot!
Great pic, Lexy. In just two years, that same pano (with the towers along West End) will be filled in with Pinnacle, Westin, and Rhythm, and possibly the Eakin tower (and Hensler). A tall cc hotel would give that same shot a remarkably long skyline. Shall we continue to hope for WES? I still believe a colleague at an international construction firm who tells me with confidence that WES will break this summer (June) on the office portion.
It's pretty incredible that in just five years this same shot will have buildings filling in the skyline all the way from the Hudson Hotel conversion and WES on the far left to the Rolling Mill Hill development on the far right. Lexy, you must capture this shot again in five years. In that time, Nashville's CBD will have practically doubled with all of the SoBro projects connected the current CBD with the Gulch on the right.

This angle really puts into perspective just how much Pinnacle, Westin, and the Music City Center and it's hotel(s) will dramatically alter Nashville forever! WES as well. Although it's difficult to tell from this angle, the next challenge will be improving the connectivity between downtown and midtown which I believe may happen sooner than any of us ever imagined. We're going to have one impressive core with or without Signature.

Speaking of the big one, I literally had a dream last night that I was at a public meeting where Tony G. announced an increase in Signature's hotel space and by the end of the meeting he had enough contracts get it off the ground. Of course, it was just a dream but who knows what will happen. Siggy would look freakishly imposing in this picture without one or two more towers a bit taller than Batman to balance it out. We've been fortunate enough to have many great projects being built or on the way. It would also be nice to see a few more with some height.
This would be great if you included the Titans stadium thats a nice place and it compliments the skyline

Well, it's in the shot but it sits on the other side of downtown. It's in East Nashville while the shot is from Southwest Nashville.
The geography looks a bit like Austin (TX). Nashville has always been one of my favorite cities in the South.
Similar in topo, but much lusher than Austin. Both cities give me the same feel. No doubt, that's why I love them so much. Lots of Texans must agree. There are many others here in Nashville.
That has to be one of the best shots of the Nashville skyline I've ever seen. You never cease to amaze me, Lexy. As others have said, I'd love to see the same shot taken again in a few years. It would be even more impressive. The width of the skyline is getting to be very substantial.
which building @ Vanderbilt was this shot from?
