The Dhs860m development is a prestigious boutique residence, offering sanctuary in the heart of New Dubai; home to the Palm Jebel Ali, Techno Park and Dubai Waterfront as well as Dubai World Central.

'Dubai possesses an energy which is vibrant and inspiring. It's truly synergetic with Maison Limited's philosophy, as the emirate shares our commitment to originality and a progressive, visionary approach', said Mr. Cor Van Der Meulen, Managing Director of Maison Limited, Hong Kong.

''Maison Residence Collection' is an elegant work of architecture that has been designed in direct response to the surrounding design context. It will be a visually stunning landmark that will be instantly recogniseable to those entering Dubai from Abu Dhabi,' he concluded.

Phase Four Downtown Jebel Ali

The G+17 residential tower will be located on Phase Four of Downtown Jebel Ali and - as the gateway to Dubai on approach from Abu Dhabi - it is set to become a landmark of the emirate.

'By offering a world-class boutique residence that is on par with the world's leading developments, 'Maison Residence Collection' will appeal to the discerning buyer who values a distinctive residential address in the world's most advanced city. Subsequently, it is the right place for us to launch 'Maison Residence Collection',' explained Mr. Shaya Shamszadeh, Managing Director of Maison Limited, UAE.

Maison Residence Collection

'Maison Residence Collection' includes 102 units of lofts, two and three bedroom apartments as well as terrace penthouses and ultra penthouses.

The development will also offer an exclusive five-star hotel experience and will feature spacious, elegantly designed homes, with private access and security.

The importance of space, privacy and individuality is all-encompassing, the intention being to provide an environment that makes the residents feel at complete ease in body, mind and soul.

'To achieve this, all homes within the 17-storey tower are designed in accordance with the specific principles of Feng Shui, the practice of arranging space and objects to help people achieve their goals. Stepping inside, residents will be enveloped in a carefully crafted atmosphere of calmness and well-being. Views of New Dubai are assured from all living rooms, with balconies and terraces carefully aligned to give unparalleled aspects,' added Mr. Shamszadeh.

All residences have an extraordinary space volume, with ceilings of up to 7 meters high and all possess master bedrooms.

Clients can enjoy fully furnished and serviced units, with interiors tailored to their preferences.

Features include hand-picked natural materials such as red brick and natural limestone façade, stained glass skylight with themed landscape Zen and Japanese gardens.

The elegant interiors of 'Maison Residence Collection' at Downtown Jebel Ali are complemented by convenient lifestyle features in the kitchens and bathrooms.

A fully-equipped gym, multifunction areas for entertaining, an infinity pool and sundeck are also features. One of the largest indoor spas is at 20,000 sq. ft.

Turquoise Class

A VIP 'Turquoise Class' is offered to residents at 'Maison Residence Collection' which includes world-class concierge services, a Maybach limousine service, a private club lounge, a 24-hour medical centre, a fully managed business centre and 24-hour housekeeping.

It will also feature boutique retail shops and signature restaurants in its lobby, where residents may enjoy elite shopping and leisure options.

'Maison Residence Collection' is designed by Creative Kingdom, designer of premium developments such as Dubai Creek Park Hyatt and the Culture Village Development.

Creative Kingdom

Bobby Caragay, Architect and Chief Operating Officer of Creative Kingdom said: 'In designing this project, the chief consideration was to create a boutique and signature dwelling, with a strong identity.

This identity has been achieved by marrying contemporary styles with traditional and art with technology.

The distinctive façade has been specifically conceptualized to maximize views, with the innovative design also allowing for reduced energy consumption, thus building further on Dubai's Green Building vision.'

The environment is a key priority with recycling facilities provided in each home. The tower will be built adhering to industry leading standards and will be a certified green building.

'Maison Residence Collection' is due for completion Q4, 2011, with negotiations for enabling work with premium suppliers currently underway.

Dubai: A Dh860 million residential project was launched on Monday by the Hong Kong-based developer Maison Limited.

The first of a collection for the company, this 17-floor boutique tower will be located in the fourth phase of Downtown Jebel Ali, and will be the "gateway to Dubai on approach from Abu Dhabi," according to an official statement.

The project will have a land area of 45,030 square feet and provide a gross built-up area of 283,247 square feet, reports say.

Shaye'e Shamszadeh, managing director of Maison Limited UAE, told Gulf News that the pricing will start from Dh3,100 and go up to Dh3,700 per square foot.

The tower will consist of 70 lofts, 17 two-bedroom apartments, eight three-bedroom apartments, four terrace penthouses and three ultra penthouses.

He also said that the average price for a loft is Dh5 million, a duplex two-bedroom apartment is Dh10 million, a duplex three-bedroom apartment is Dh14 million, a terrace penthouse is Dh24 million and the ultra-collection triplex penthouses are priced at Dh45 million.

Construction will start in the second quarter of 2009, and handover will begin in the last quarter of 2011, officials said.

Thirty per cent of the project has already been sold, and officials expect the remaining 40 per cent to be sold soon.

"With the interest we've seen in the past two days, we will sell the project out completely in three to four weeks," Shamszadeh said.

A unique aspect of the tower, Shamszadeh said, is the floor-to-ceiling height of up to seven metres.

"This residential building has attention to detail," Shamszadeh said.

He was referring to the principles of Feng Shui applied to the furnishings and light in the building and the selection of natural materials for the façade and stained glass skylight with themed landscapes for the Zen and Japanese gardens.

Maison is in the process of choosing a contractor and they "will be on board by December," Shams-zadeh said.

Maison Residence

Please be kind enough to let me know if someone has invested in this project and if so what is the status of payments and project as of date?

On August 2008, I paid for one of the installments of Maison Residence Collection loft apartments amounting to 360,000 AED. Betterhomes, their exclusive agent, promised swift resale of the booking then, but they did not deliver as the recession wave reached Dubai. Currently, neither Maison has started the project, nor have we been able to pay the later installments. The situation is a stalement, Betterhomes has broken any business ties with Maison Ltd. on the grounds of defaulting to pay their professional fees and RERA has been notified on Maison's misconduct and unbusiness-like behavior.

If any of the other inevestors of Maison are reading this, please contact me on [email protected] so that we may join together for a group petition to be filed against Maison with Emirates' RERA authority and reclaim our money, otherwise as I know, independent legal actions against developers take ages to complete.
