I love BA but when you have a city as painfully beautiful as this, north america condo knock-offs don't cut it. I know this is a "skyscraper" forum but there are 2 cities on earth where tall buildings should be banished, or approved because they are so outrageously different they couldn't possibly devalue what's been built.

1. Paris
2. Buenos Aires

If you read carefully, you'll note this post is positive, if not a love letter.

Elliot: I disagree with this. I think Buenos Aires should have tall buildings... but not amid the Paris style low-rises. The highrises and future skyscrapers should all be located concentrated in one area of the city only... unfortunatelly, the skyscrapers in Buenos Aires seem to being built in several places in the middle of the old city. On the other hand, that is a path that Frankfurt took and its a very cool city.
