I would say this building was far ahead of it's time. Back in the 60's the box buildings were in style, so to come up with the thin shape, the designeres were definitely thinking ahead. If they had used some nicer looking materials, most would think this building was built in the 90's.

It is a unique and fairly elegant building. It is looking a bit worn and slightly dated though. The palza is not that attractive but probably serves a good civic purpose such as if the Leafs ever win the cup people would most likely gather there. That might not happen for 30 40 years though.
