So the other day I stumbled upon this site that had renderings of the latest Roosevelt Island Tramway design. Personally I like it. It matches the the new bus stop & newstands look. What do you think?

I agree!!! Seems to me that the greatest thing to ever happen to that island was the addition of a subway station. Put up some stores...heck a petting zoo or something!!!

lol I remember that day when my parents visited me from Korea when we rode the Tram the driver was like "Ok, today will be the LAST day the Tram will operate as we will start doing renovation work on it and re-open back in September". I was like Phew~ since I wanted my parents to ride the tram and get a great view of Manhattan's East Side and just experience the Tram as well. That was back in Feb 27, 2010 lol

Agree. But you wouldn't want to be on the Skyway when it broke down. 'Memba that?

Naaa....ropeways are the safest transport system of the world (passengers/incidents); the problems and the long rescue time was certainly caused by inexperience of the staff, otherwise the rescue is expected in up to 3 hours.
