Typical City of Toronto. Instead of welcoming and bending over backwards to attract office development. They give a bunch of bullshit reasons... maybe they are right but will the developer still build or say "**** off" we don't need this shit, it's cheaper in <INSERT AMERICAN CITY HERE>. Where office towers are actually welcomed and get incentives to build. Toronto belives an incentive is to raise their taxes and the like.

I'm still wondering what that technology center with office tower will look like. According to the descriptions it sounds fairly interesting.

Indeed... first thing that came to mind - my drunk mind at the time - was the Freedom Tower.
