Wasn't sure where to post this, but it looks interesting for a shuttle service.

Senior citizens in St. Petersburg's south side can now get a free ride.

Whether it’s groceries, a doctor’s appointment or other errands, elderly in the area don’t have to worry about transportation with the new, free, Southside Shuttle.

I was thinking the Jolly Trolley in Clearwater should offer a similar program. A senior citizen pick-up (with funding state or federal ) to bring seniors in the greater Clearwater beach / DT area to Morton Plant hospital or other local medical facilities.

The Trolley has an expanded route but it doesn't yet reach into the neighborhoods.

Flex service definitely needs to be rolled out throughout Pinellas, and not just in North County. Public or private, it just needs to happen.

I agree.

I've been thinking through the last couple weeks what areas could benefit from flex services. Here are just a few.

*Beaches
*Gulfport
*S. St Pete
*Largo
*Safety Harbor
