What's the hight of the floors? Seems like about 4m.

A little more than that, 4,3 or something. But there are many different sources that say different floor numbers.

I'm calling shenanigans on the scale of the furniture in the great room rendering, as well as the Rolls Royce in the porte cochere rendering.

Funny you mentioned about the scale. I was at the site today and went by the 58th street side and it was the first time I could actually see what was going on with that building.

Currently there are streams of workers in that building and it looks like to me the interior demo is about done. That building where I assume the driveway will be is actually very spacious. VERY. I was pretty surprised.

The pit on the 57th street side, lots of activity as well and the pit is getting pretty deep.

Beautiful. But since the setbacks double as balconies, I expect they won't actually be able to consistently light them that way (except for the uppermost handful which are just part of the crown/mech floors).

I know it's unlikely, but I have to wonder whether the gaga reaction over the renders of this tower will compel Extell to try something more adventurous with Nordstrom. And I actually quite like what we've seen of Nordstrom. But Right now, if I'm a billionaire comparing the two, I'm leaning heavily towards the sculptural masterpiece with dead-center, unimpeded Park views.

This is beautiful beyond words. It gave me a deeply mystical feeling, the lighting scheme is perfect, it almost feels to be alien in a world full of imperfection. It is just another proof that Central Park will have the best skyline in the world in a few years :drool::master:

By the way, this would be that building on 58th street, as you can see, it matches exactly that driveway, with the two entrances, the five windows and even the other small door between the two main entrances.

They will demolish the first floor plate and make the driveway double height.

As much as I love this building, the interior renderings of these ultra-lux buildings are always incredibly sleazy. They look like only an ex-KGB oligarch would even consider living there.
I guess the marketers know who they're catering to.
