Hopefully the building gets a window wash as soon as they finish fitting the windows where the hoist was. Otherwise it'll be the same and 1WTC with a shiny clean strip of windows running up the middle of the building for 6 months.

So a rough calculation (using the Twin Towers as an example) shows:

(450,000,000 kg weight per tower / 7700 kg of steel per cubic meter) = about 58,442 cubic meters of material.

Volume of each tower = 63.4 x 63.4 x 417 = 1,676,157 cubic meters.

58,442 / 1,676,157 = only about 3.5%! Obviously, this number goes up if you include all other non-structural materials, but it's still surprisingly low.

If the crowns top corner is going to stay that way, to me it will always look incomplete.. :/
Still it's great to see the cladding finished and what an addition this monster sized building is to New York's repertoire! And that giant balcony outdoor observation deck
must be one of the greatest OD:s to behold both externally and by it's view -> one of, if not the most impressive there is in the world!

new yorkkk.. oh god it is so pretty I just want to live forever there. And the quality of this pic is just awesome. Really try using 192.168.1.108 guide and then upload any pic. There might be no difference in camera and uploaded pic.:)
