^^ Public space has been taken care off very well.

The new Brochure is online, and it looks great. Www.nydailynews.com also has great renderings in connection with an article re: today's groundbreaking. It states that Ross has enough tenants for the north tower and that announcements will be forthcoming.
..
That means that the north tower could be rising soon.

Coach, the fashion company, has purchased 750,000 of the 1.2 million square feet of the first office tower for an international headquarters. Related reports more than 80% of that building already committed. Ross said he is close to signing several tenants to a another structure that will be higher than the Empire State Building.

Thanks for posting those Hudson, shared em on SSP, credited you of course!

Also, with these renderings of the public space I think it's fair to say this and the WTC are my favorite projects anywhere in the world, and if it weren't for the Transit Hub at the WTC, this might take the cake. Transforming what's shown below, into what's shown above, I am literally speechless.

amazing square, it's looking much nicer than the WTC

For me it's a tie! They both look great! I think these renders are a whole lot better than any of the World Trade Centers. And these will probly be built before 2 & 3 WTC. This has definitely caught my attention!
Can somebody tell me what those 2 other towers are for? I've never taken an interest in them until now so I don't know to much about them.

When you say the other two I assume you mean the two on the left in the picture below?

http://www.hudsonyardsnewyork.com

The one on the far left, aka the one with the clover in the middle will be apartments below the corset, and condos above.

The second to the left, the one that looks like Trump Tower in Chicago, will be mixed use, and will house Related's new HQ, the developer of this whole thing. Details below.

"1.1 million gross square foot mixed-use tower
950 feet tall
61 stories
17 floors of office space with 33,000 rsf floor plates
4 floors of retail
3 floors of fitness featuring a basketball court, swimming pool and flagship Equinox Fitness Club
200-key Luxury Hotel spanning 11 floors which will include a Ballroom, Sky Lobby and Spa
21 floors of luxury residences"

You bring some renders to SSP, I bring some from there to here :)

Some more high quality renders courtesy of NY guy from SSP

It very well could be, especially considering where it's being built.

Yeah, I said earlier it was going to be one of those days. Now check out this model...

I didn't know what I thought about this project but since I saw the renders posted by RobertWalpole on previous page, I'm really interested in it!

NY could really create a huge gap between it and the rest of the world skyline wise by 2020.

Can't wait to hear what tenants Ross is negotiating with to anchor the North Tower.

This is an über-awesome and massive new development right in the skyscraper world capital.

And to think that many claimed, some 10 years ago, that no more skyscrapers would be built
