New Permits Filed: 175 West 60th, 48 Stories and 533 Feet Tall

New York YIMBY
This tower needed a thread. The source was posted a year ago?
A new tower that's part of Fordham University's massive Lincoln Square campus expansion sees its first full reveal following significant headway on the construction site. NY YIMBY spotted the to-be glass tower at 175 West 60th Street, whose construction is imminent given its now-complete foundation. The residential tower is being developed by the ever-prolific Glenwood Management and is designed by The Stephen B. Jacobs Group. It will stand 48-stories and 533-feet-tall, and have 256 units, or six-units per floor.
Of course: Glenwood is the developer.Rather uninspired design.
The last we checked in on 175 West 60th Street, at the end of March, the foundation had just been poured, but the tower had yet to go vertical. In the five months since then, the tower has reached its seventh story, and construction is now progressing more rapidly.
The building on the corner of 60th Street and 10th Avenue is a residential project by Glenwood Management. Despite being rentals, the apartments will be quite luxurious – the building has 289,244 square feet of net residential floorspace divided over just 256 units, yielding an average unit size of over 1,100 square feet.
